“Argentario 20th Anniversary” Tournament at Argentario Golf Club
In 2026, Argentario Golf Club celebrates its 20th anniversary, marking two decades defined by vision, quality, sustainability, and international recognition. To commemorate this important milestone, the Club will host the “Argentario 20th Anniversary” tournament, an 18-hole individual Stableford competition open to all players, conceived as a shared celebration of twenty years of golf in one of Italy’s most breathtaking natural settings.
Officially opened on June 2, 2006, Argentario Golf Club quickly distinguished itself through its strong commitment to environmental sustainability, becoming the first eco-friendly organic golf course in Italy. Over the years, the Club has strengthened its international profile by hosting prestigious tournaments including the Ladies Italian Open, Senior Italian Open, Italian Challenge Open, and the 82nd Italian Open, held in 2025 as part of the DP World Tour.
A defining moment in the Club’s history came in 2019, when The PGA awarded Argentario Golf Club the designation of PGA National Golf Course Italy, the only venue in the country to hold this exclusive title.
The 18-hole championship course, a par 71 stretching 6,295 metres, lies within a protected natural area just minutes from the Feniglia Dune Nature Reserve, surrounded by lagoon landscapes, the sea, Argentario’s rolling hills, and Mediterranean vegetation.
To celebrate the anniversary, the Club House Restaurant will also introduce a selection of special culinary creations. Among them is the “Chocolate History 20th Anniversary” dessert, a dark chocolate mousse with crumble and passion fruit, designed to accommodate both lactose and gluten intolerances and soon to be added to the à la carte menu. On the day of the tournament, guests will also be able to enjoy the “Roll History 20th Anniversary,” featuring sliced veal, green sauce, and caramelised onion — an ideal grab-and-go option for players to take onto the course in their golf cart. Completing the menu will be a seasonal first course inspired by produce freshly harvested from the Resort’s garden.
The 20th anniversary also marks the opening of the summer season at Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort, Autograph Collection, with a calendar of events designed to showcase the Resort through conviviality, local traditions, and lifestyle experiences. Highlights include the “Serata Maremmana” dinner at the Club House on June 6, the White Party at the Club House on July 25, and the Ferragosto Tasting at Dama Dama on August 15.
